Grandparents Day

NSW Grandparents Day celebrates the role grandparents and older people play in our society – both the things they have done, and the things they keep doing. It’s a day to spend time with an older loved one and connect across the generations. The students and staff at Rozelle Public School would like to invite our grandparents to celebrate this special day by attending a special assembly hosted by Monteverde on Friday 27 October commencing at 9:15am. After the immensely successful event last year where the hall was overflowing with proud grandparents, the hall will be reconfigured to ensure that everyone in attendance will be comfortably seated. Following the assembly, grandparents are invited to visit their grandchild’s class to share morning tea and visit the Grandparents Book Fair in the school library. Thank you to Alison Cole, our Art Teacher, and students who created the great poster to advertise and celebrate this event. Thanks also to Carol Sheppard, our Teacher Librarian, and a very hard working group of “Library Lover” parents and grandparents for all their work organising the Book Fair.
